The Vidayalaya is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education with an endeavour to facilitate children of Central Government Employees, Defence Personnel and employees of autonomous bodies who are liable to be transferred from one state to another state to receive uninterrupted educational facilities with easy accessibility to any Kendriya Vidyalaya in any part of the country.

The school emphasizes on our rich Indian culture as well as traditional values and aims to ensure academic excellence and the holistic development of students, without raising the cost of education.

The medium of instruction is bilingual. Mathematics and Science subjects are taught through English language and Social Studies through Hindi as well as English Language.

The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Preet Vihar, New Delhi and prepares students for the All India Secondary School (Class X) Examination and All India Senior School Certificate (Class XII) Examination of the Board.
